We need some control. Uncontrolled, groups will tend to form up to monopolize markets. Thus the ideas behind our government eliminating monopolies and providing limited rights to intellectual property and works. Course that's how it starts out.. then the people/companies buy many government employees resulting in monopolies being handed out via cronyism.
