Andrew Puzder's ex wife asserts that the reason she did the Oprah interview was to get a free trip to Chicago. What? A free trip to Chicago? At the time, her husband was a leading attorney in Missouri and by 1991 was a partner at Lewis, D'Amato, Brisbois & Bisgaard.
Just to make clear how either trite or implausible -- not sure which is so -- that woman's motivation/claim is. Missouri shares a border with Illinois. The Puzders were already "wealthy enough" people in the late 1980s when they divorced. A trip to Chicago was enough for that woman to "rag" on her husband? Really?
Now here's the kicker. As much a "gold digger" as Lisa Fierstein seems to have been, the fact of the matter is that Andrew Puzder married her. Just how bad a judge of character, or social loser, must one be that one couldn't see that coming and choose a better -- not that "better" necessarily, in her case, would have raised the bar in any significant way -- mate?
Frankly, I think they should reconcile and get back together. Each of them is just a different kind of "hot mess." Seems they were made for each other. She's petty and he's "thirsty."
