Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was shot in the back while delivering a speech on the street in the city of Nara on Friday morning, according to Japanese broadcaster NHK.
Abe was reportedly shot around 11:30 a.m. by an attacker who came at him from behind with a “shotgun,” according to the outlet. An NHK reporter on the scene reported hearing at least two gunshots, and seeing blood as Abe collapsed to the ground.
He was rushed the hospital “without any clear vital signs,” an anchor said, citing local fire officials.

A suspect in his 40s was detained at the scene. The man, wearing a gray shirt and khaki pants, lingered in the area after the incident, according to a witness.

Reports claim he was shot from behind at close range with a shot gun disguised as a toy.

The reason the gun-grabbers do this is that it worked three times. England, Scotland, and Australia all grabbed all firearms on the occasion in each case of a gruesome school shooting of a lot of children by a crazy. So they have been hoping for years that this would get what they want here and they work hard each school shooting or other sort of serious massacre by crazies and terrorists, to ban all guns.

I think we on the right have to recognize, this week, that we won: self-defense by the people has been protected. That's why they are so angry -- you can always tell who lost by who is most angry.

The USSC decision about concealed carry was determinative; we won. It's important to recognize when we've won so we can stop fighting.
