Should big government have the power to regulate my pets?

Effectively I think 99.999% of us agree I should not be able to own a lion or grizzly w/o essentially starting a zoo.

So, we fall in this middle ground of liking degrees of big government oversite. Should I be allowed to have a pet bobcat? Most folks say probably not. Pit bull, probably.

So it isn't a very emotional debate. We are just talking degrees of government control.

Well people keep lions and tigers and end up getting killed by them.

There should be oversight on these kinds of animals.

They are wild animals no matter how long they are in captivity. Wild animals can't be controlled even if folks think they can.
