He COULD take it from 9 to 11. FDR expanded it get his way. Taking it to 11 would give Trump THREE picks and we have enough control to have the court for FIVE Decades. We SHOULD do that and set our country on the RIGHT path for decades.

There would be a greater chance the court not legislating from the bench out of partisanship, 'cough, cough (Ginsberg)' and interpreting & applying the Constitution as they are intended to do. One or two partisan flakes wouldn't have as much impact... hypothetically of course. The SCOTUS must not be so unwieldy with jurists that it can't move swiftly and decisively on cases... (did I just use swiftly in describing the SCOTUS) lol...

/----/ It would be a mistake and set a bad president. If ever another Obozo or a Hildabeast becomes president, they could pack it with 50 left wingers and cripple this country as we know it forever. FDR tried but failed to expand the court.
Roosevelt announces “court-packing” plan - Feb 05, 1937 - HISTORY.com
in July 1937, the Senate struck it down by a vote of 70 to 22. Soon after, Roosevelt had the opportunity to nominate his first Supreme Court justice, and by 1942 all but two of the justices were his appointees.

FDR threatened to expand it, ultimately it didn't happen. However he did get 5 nominations to change the court to his liking. Republicans would need 60 votes in congress to even have the opportunity, but I don't see it ever happening.

.

The SC has been increased and decreased through its history, FDR was not the first to change the size or at least attempt to do so.

Not gonna happen. If it did happen, it would not go into effect until AFTER Trump was out of office. That's why the left wants it.

no, we need to be ready to stop leftists when they try though

9 is perfect

He should leave it as is. I don’t like the idea of stacking the odds in your favor by making drastic changes. It goes against the principles our country was founded on. Also it would only give more fuel to the anti-Trump fire. If you don’t like the opposition forcing their values onto you why do you think it’s fine to force your values on others?

FDR did not expand the court.

FDR tried to stack the Court and it was the turning point of his age and disease related mental illness. President Trump respects the Constitution.
