Agreed. They should be put out of business. Those who knew this and delayed should be in jail. Contaminating even a little bit water that people drink should be a federal crime. How's this for your level of simple, don't give them a fucking thing for free, make them earn their government hand-outs with actual living wages for Americans. Yep. But how many of our regulations and subsidies are implemented via the tax code?

I'm not saying it would end the practice, but one of the most common ways politicians solicit corporate lobbying is with threats of increasing taxes. Granted, they do the same with regulatory threats, but most of us advocating for zero corporate taxes also oppose corporatist regulatory schemes.
