Because the cure is now becoming worse than the virus.. Suicides, Loss of homes, loss of families, poverty all have costs in lives lost. Suicide rates have jumped x3 in the last two weeks. These are preventable deaths of the young and those who are not affected by the virus to any real extent. We also now have treatments that work and increased hospital capacity to deal with larger numbers of patients who are ill needing intervention. Those who die from contracting this will die today or tomorrow when they contract it. We now have treatments that can save most people if they are started early in the infection process and not after the immune system goes into chaos.so reducing immediate deaths doesn't count as a plus in your head?
keeping hospitals in tact is not a plus either?
Its time to get on with life.
The lockdown has served well to keep the number of hospitalizations relatively low. That allows for better treatment, reduced fatalities and time to develop a vaccine.
Relatively speaking, we are winning this war...why change tactics when your winning?
Its time to change game plans to save lives in both areas becasue WE KNOW HOW TO DO IT AND CAN DO IT!..
