Seeing the way blacks are today...Part of me seriously regrets that the republican party did this for them.
Democrats TRAINED them to hate just like southern whites.
That is why you still see the lootings the bombings and killings today. Democrats TRAINED them to do that.

OK, so during some of the years referenced there was a "Democratic Party". But for more, there was none. Only the replacement "Democrat Party". Do you want terms used interchangeably though that seems unfair to the founders!

The Democratic party was a former group of PRO King George so it gets a little murky in places.

Which party's senators and reps from the South voted 100% to oppose civil rights? Yep, it was the GOP. That makes every question before meaningless.

Jesus Christ on a Croissant, how many times are y'all partisan hacks gonna trot out this bullshit? We just did this two days ago.

The military was desegregated by Harry Truman, not Eisenhower, in 1948 -- Executive Order 9981. It was one of the reasons the Southern contingent at the Democratic convention walked out and started their own party to run Strom Thurmond for President.

And the CRA, like most legislation, was passed bipartisanly. Actually more Democrats than Republicans voted for it, thought not to a significant degree. The same is true for Amendments -- Amendments are passed by the States ... not fucking political parties.

Further Martin Luther King was not a Republican.
Further, the Ku Klux Klan has never been affiliated with a party. But it has worked to get Republicans elected.

We can do this all day.

Get a frickin' life, loser.

You would have been a Democrat up until 1964, then you would have voted for Goldwater.
