I was a stay at home dad for awhile. We were far from rich. Sent our kids to private school for K to 12th. It called making sacrifices for what you really want and not just wanting everything.

The Housewife is not a luxury afforded to wealthy families. It can even be seen as way of life. A traditional way of life for Western cultures!

Women have done this for ages, even the low income ones.

It's funny that the left is making it sound like only wealthy people like the Romney's have such a luxury, but yet they've made it their goal to ensure that parents don't have to work. Nearly half of all Americans receive some form of welfare. There are 4th and 5th generations of welfare recipients and many have never worked, nor have their parents or grandparents. I guess the left is confused and have trouble believing that the people who aren't wealthy and aren't on the doles could possibly afford to have one parent stay home and raise the children. This independent class of people seem to piss off big brother government because they can't vilify us and we don't need them.
