South Dakota Resisted Shutdown, Now It's a Hotspot

South Dakota has less than 1,000 cases and 6 fucking deaths.

What a load of bullshit MarcATL

I've noticed you've loaded the board with other bullshit threads too.

I've responded asking for proof on a couple of them. And, well, I'm still waiting.
With hundreds at one site that number will increase quickly.

Wouldn't have happened had SD acted responsibly in the first place

This woman has come up with some of the most ridiculous excuses for not shutting down her state.

Now, they have one of the largest hot spots in the nation with limited health care for the people.

Rural areas don't have very good health care services nor do they have very much available to the people. Nor do they have enough of the proper equipment to handle the amount of people with the virus.

Republicans. The party of death.

South Dakota ==> 6 deaths

New York ==> Over 10,500 deaths

But Republicans are the party of death.

That is so fucking funny, I can't believe it.

S.D. has six deaths.

Sounds pretty responsible to me.

Or are you saying Cuomo deserves the firing squad for his 10,500 deaths.

Less than a month ago NY had a cluster of 100 infected...not even in the city itself

Pay attention SD. Be careful

How you are going to make that connection to the 196,000 total cases they now have, I am really anxious to see.

I don't buy those numbers until someone can hypothosize a reasonable scenario for that kind of growth.

And I really could are less if S.D. somehow got to that number.

This is life and mother nature.

Over 240 of those cases are from the food processing plant. California did not shut down food processing plants either as they were deemed essential.

What will be interesting, imo, is the % of people in Sioux Falls who get the virus

“As governors across the country fell into line in recent weeks, South Dakota’s top elected leader stood firm: There would be no statewide order to stay home,” the Washington Post reports.

Do you really imagine a few deaths is a problem? How many times do you think we can shut down the economy to prevent a few hundred deaths?

It's teh flu

Sweden is still wide open, they're fine

I’ll proabably shoot around about 78 or high end 83 at the golf course today
