i hung with this dude who was a muscian in the 70's and he knew a lot of the band members that played at the various LA and OC clubs....he used to get turned on to concerts that were in the LA area.....i dont know how many bands ive seen for free......and there were many we didnt go to because a "great" party was happening that night....a lot of them were at the Long Beach Arena.....

I worked at the Richfield Coliseum after school and weekends in Ohio from 1978 to 1980....it's gone now- part of Cuyahoga Valley National Park or something. (Old home of the Cavs)

Saw a bunch of concerts ---too many to list, Zeppelin, The Who, Wings, Yes, Genesis , Eagles, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, Jethro Tull, Van Halen,. Queen/ Thin Lizzy, Black Sabbath/Boston........to name a few....
