McMaster didn't have the authority to fire him, so he stayed until his job was done.

We knew back in February McMaster didn't want him there, but the President kept him there until his job was done. His job was to make sure the NSC was no longer following Obama's agenda.

You definitely have too much time. I want to know what his job was, so can you tell me?

His job was to make sure the NSC was following President Turmp's agenda and not Obama's agenda. He is a political strategist, not an intelligence expert, so obviously his job had to do with the political agenda of the NSC, not the technical side of its mission. For example, under Obama, the NSC was likely charged with spying on Russia rather than Iran and China, but under President Trump, Iran not Russia will be the main focus. We also know that Obama was spying on virtually everyone in the Israeli government with the intention of trying to undermine that government in favor of the leftist parties, but under President Trump, that will change. Bannon was there to imprint President Trump's worldview on the NSC and to make sure Obama's was gone.

It is hardly an embarrassment. Bannon was placed on the NSC to make sure Obama's disastrous foreign policy agenda was replaced by President Trump's agenda and apparently the job has been successfully completed.

Yes, we knew back in February McMaster wanted Bannon gone because Bannon was a political operative and not an intelligence expert, and as soon as President Trump was satisfied the NSC was on the right track, he allowed McMaster replace Bannon.

This is a breaking story. Facts for the exact details of his firing are sketchy, but rumor is that trump fired the fool himself.

Bannon is a political strategist, not an expert on intelligence, so he was placed on the NSC to make sure Obama's NSC was fully converted into President Trump's NSC. Now that he has accomplished this, there is no reason to keep him there.

Yeah..okay. Amazing how they never once brought up that reason when he was appointed. All we heard was that he was “qualified” because he was an officer in the navy (just like L. Ron Hubbard and Montel Williams).

It should have been obvious to you. The problem is all you analyses begin with the premise that President Trump is stupid and none of his actions make any sense at all, so you have no chance of ever understanding anything that is going on.

And I’m sure there is a quote from you somewhere describing that Bannon would “step down” at a certain point if it were so “obvious”. Please cite yourself.
