"Every president works at home in the white house and on air force 1... and he was cooperating with getting the documents back to the archive...."
And we be OK with Presidents bringing work home. We all be OK with that. It's a big friggin' job.
But, not unimportantly......this isn't an issue of a "President".
This is a guy that was fired by the American voters 20 months before.
When I was working in a real job....fired folks were shown the door, and given a cardboard box with the pics of their wife, dog, and monster bass. They didn't get to keep the company's formula to the secret sauce.

"Cooperating".....you say.
That seems debatable, to be kind.
He gave some back after respectful but earnest requests.
But he didn't give it all back.
So the requests got more earnest.
He gave a bit more. But he didn't give it all.
Govco grew impatient with the 'now-you-see-it-now-you-don't' trickery.
Then he got a subpoena.
And his attorneys said 'That's all, folks. No more juice in the jar. You have it all back.'
Govco didn't believe him. They still thought he was holding back.
And then one, or so it seems more than one, snitch dropped a dime and said: 'Keep lookin'. He's hiding sausages. And here is where they are.'
So, "cooperating"?
It depends on your partisan zealotry, I suppose.
