"Establishment" Republicans are obstructing any progress on the Trump platform and Democrats are worried about primary challenges from the even further left. At the rate things are going to be strange in 2018
There are likely to be more investigations into how corrupt the Democrats are, as in the current special counsel is a prime example of corruption unbound. If Sessions was correct to recuse himself, which is probably correct, Then Mueller and the assistant AG absolutely were required to.
Blue state finances are going to get worse quickly with ACA still the law.
The voter fraud commission only needs to be marginally effective to hurt the Ds badly.
Other than the fact that severely bad news for the left is only likely to come out of the next SCOTUS session it is hard to see either side getting any good news prior to the 2018 election. So what do you expect?
