Studies confirm: Trump voters were motivated by racial prejudice — not ‘economic anxiety’

It became conventional wisdom during the presidential campaign that Donald Trump supporters were motivated by bigotry, until the Republican candidate won and it became politically incorrect for Democrats to say that.

But the problem with that forgiving logic is, it’s just not really true, reported The Intercept.

“Whether it’s good politics to say so or not, the evidence from the 2016 election is very clear that attitudes about blacks, immigrants, and Muslims were a key component of Trump’s appeal,” Philip Klinkner, a political scientist at Hamilton College, told the website.

An entire genre of newspaper reports has profiled Trump supporters who regret their votes, now that programs they use are on the chopping block, or still back the president — but a common theme is their disdain for “illegal” immigrants and changing U.S. demographics.
I wasn't aware Hillary was a ******...yo.

The theorem that "racism" and/or "bigotry" was the cause of Trump's victory over Mrs. Clinton is crapola.

Looking at where Trump really beat the 2012 presidential results, it was small and medium sized cities, and rural areas, where he did better. He did worse in huge metropolises.

There is no correlation on race, Trump beat Romney's totals by 20 or 30 points regardless of whether a town had a large or small black population. The "theory" is just a way to try and delegitimize our president with the racism slur.

You are the biggest racist around hand job, just a pathetic piece of low life trailer trash

Really, how so? You're just mad because I keep sticking your stupid shit back up your ass. You throw around terms like "Racism" and "Nazi" and thump your chest pretending to be all bad and shit. You're young, you're stupid, and you don't know anything about anything.

If we think you should come here "legally" we're racist.
If we think you should "pee" in the men's room if you have a penis we're "homophobic".
If we're Constitutional Originalists we're "uneducated" or "Neanderthals".

Kid how did you grow up so full of hate and intolerance?

Lets see sooooo it was racist's and the Russians that fucked Hillary?

So I guess that makes us all "deplorable" after all?

Keep broadcasting your hatred of middle America. I look forward to beating you again in 2018, 2020, 2022, 2024, and so on.

Until there is a study about how racist Democrats and Hillary supporters are, you can take this and all the other "studies" of this nature and shove it back up your ass.

We are all racist to some extent or another and there was a time when Dems were the racist party. That has changed. Repubs are now the party of the kkkd, white supremacists, alt-right, trailer trash garbage.

Fact is, its the RWNJs who openly blame people of color for their own failures.

Read this board and you can see that's true.
