Syrian Air Defenses Shot Down American Missiles

Yeppers, they handled ISIS so well that ISIS was able to export terror all over the world thanks to the 500 million a year they were making thanks to obummer's policies. Trump allowed the US military to do its job and they were crippled in under a year. Unlike obummer who claimed they were now a fact of life. THANKS TRUMP!
Crippled in under a year? Damn. And here the last few years you dupes were acting like ISIS was the greatest military force in the history of the world instead of a JV team.

Also, ISIS had zero reach outside of its tiny strip of desert wasteland other than Twitter and other social media. Trump came in and told the military to abandon the rebels against Assad. It appears he also said to not care about killing civilians. What a heroic move.

And here the last few years you dupes were acting like ISIS was the greatest military force in the history of the world instead of a JV team.

Well, just because Obama couldn't stop them doesn't mean they were a JV team
Obama bombed the shit out of them. Trump is doing the same, except he's abandoned the rebels that relied on us and said to kill civilians. ISIS was always a JV team. A gaggle of impoverished sand people that didn't even have a helicopter.

Suuuuuuure he did. That's why they were expanding their territory nearly every day and raking in hundreds of billions of dollars from the oil fields they had captured. That's why he claimed that ISIS would take "years" to defeat. If you weren't so silly, in dumb sort of way, you would be funny.

The entire Syrian episode has been a farce. Here is the make up of the "rebels".

Isil is fighting alongside of the rebel "groups". Al Qaeda is fighting alongside the "rebels".

I agree with you on this. The rebels truly are scum. But their kids aren't. At least not yet. Regardless, the use of chemical weapons needs to be eradicated, no matter who they are used against. Because once their first targets are dead, they turn them on us.

Missiles hit three distinct military chemical weapons targets. “The three facilities are – or more appropriately, were – the fundamental components of the regime’s chemical weapons warfare infrastructure,” McKenzie said.

One target, the Barzah center, housed the regime’s research, development and production center for chemical and biological weapons. Photos taken after the strike show that where once three buildings stood, there is now nothing but rubble.

Strikes also hit a chemical weapons storage facility and a chemical bunker facility. “We selected these targets carefully to minimize the risk to innocent civilians,” the general said.

“We are still conducting a more detailed damage assessment, but initial indications are that we accomplished our military objectives without material interference. I would use three words to describe the operation: Precise, overwhelming and effective,” he said.

I find it interesting that people that routinely disbelieve everything the Govt tells them will accept what the DOD tells them without a question at all.

Gen Dunford was giving those same damage assessment results last night not more than an hour after the attack and while it was still dark in Syria. There was no way they could have done an accurate assessment of the damage by the time he was giving his presser.

Ah so you’ll only be satisfied with a genocide. How old are you, if I may ask?

Genocide..............yeah..............ISIS is good at that..............They considered Al Queda pussies.
ISIS is pretty terrible at genocides since almost everybody they killed were fellow Muslims.
And.............your posts just a moment ago were how we are committing Genocide.....................

Then let's go to another thread where you will say we hit nothing but a empty shed that had a lawn mower in it.........in the desert.........

One day..........you might make up your mind.............perhaps...............
The U.S. is not committing genocide. I don’t know why you lied about me saying so. But the U.S. is certainly wasting lives, money, and time in the Middle East, where there is nothing to gain, and where things always end up worse after our actions.
We are all too old to remember WWI but not too old to want it repeated. Even the Nazis didn't use chemical weapons.

I think the 6,000,000 people they murdered by cyanide gas in the concentration camps would disagree with that statement.

Rump let Syria know ,,kill as many as you want just don't use chemicals

Given the GPS systems and cruise missile cameras.........they know from the ships firing them exactly where they hit............as far as aerial photos of damage.......thats a different story.

I wanted nothing done..............until confirmation was beyond a doubt. I still don't believe Assad did this.

Our mission objective .......kill ISIS......leave.
We didn’t bomb ISIS. And they can handle ISIS without us anyways.

Obama bombed the shit out of them. Trump is doing the same, except he's abandoned the rebels that relied on us and said to kill civilians. ISIS was always a JV team. A gaggle of impoverished sand people that didn't even have a helicopter.

Obama bombed the shit out of them.

You mean when Obama wouldn't bomb their oil wells, because that would release too much CO2?
Or when Obama wouldn't cut off their oil funding by destroying their oil trucks, to save the drivers?
So their funding continued, while Obama "bombed the shit out of them".....because he was so tough.

There are a number of reports today that I find very disturbing.

The first is that Assad has been routinely using chlorine gas against his people over the past year even after Putin promised he wouldn’t. Trump did nothing. According to the reports of last week’s attack, there was chlorine and Saran in this attack.

So if Assad has been gassing his people this whole year, why wasn’t something done before this week to put a stop to it? Are we now good with chlorine gas but not Saran? This is bullshit.

It has estimated that 400,000 people have been killed in the Syrian civil war. 5 million have fled the country in the worst refugee crisis in history. 6 million more have been “internally displaced”. That’s half the population of the country pre-war. Why are some forms of murder “acceptable” and others worthy of retaliation? Dead is dead.

Very few of the 400,000 deaths have been as a result of chemical weapons. Why is it acceptable for Assad to kill his people so long as he doesn’t use chemical bombs to do it? Barrel bombs are OK, as are guns, knives, starvation and lack of medical care. Chlorine gas too, but don’t use Saran. That’s a “red line”.

I somewhat agree
yes, even conventional weapons mutilate/burn/cause agony/slow death/etc etc

It isn't "acceptable" for anyone to murder their citizens. But, it is also not our business. However, given the nature of WMD's, their use DEMANDS a response. No matter whom they are used upon.

The S-400 is stated to be able to kill Tomahawks.............the export version....M series.........I can't see the data..........

It is a effective surface to air killer but highly doubtful they got the cruise missiles last night.

Can’t get over how much the left hates the military and their families

What, your other lies aren’t working so you trot out this one?

You Russian trolls are disgusting.
Anyone on here making claims that Syria took out 70 of 103 missles are our unamerican traitors. Sorry you’re offended for someone calling out your hate

Refugee's that didn't need to leave Syria. They should have been moved into secure zones, that were paid for by the Saudi's and others. Instead the Saudi's are quite happy to build mosques in Europe so that the Syrians can stay.
