Syrian Parliamentary Elections 2016

Mr Clown, the half of the population refugees and you talk about elections?!

BpOLAheIAAARZuy.jpg
11 million Syrians voted in 2014, Mr. Internet Insurgent.
You believe this masquerade!!!

And the 7 million refugees when they will vote?
Syrian Kurds boycott parliamentary election
The refugees can of course vote as they fled to government controlled areas, Nusra fanboy.
Oh the 7 million refugees didn't know that!

If you host them in your home or rebuild their houses, maybe they can return to Syria.
"As of February 2016, the United Nations (UN) has identified 13.5 million Syrians requiring humanitarian assistance, of which 6.6 million are internally displaced within Syria, and over 4.8 million are refugees outside of Syria."

The Syrian government is not responsible when the regimes hosting refugees do not allow them to vote. However, you have to subtract those arriving in Europe from those hosted by Turkey, anyway, got it?

"Damascus, SANA – UN Special Rapporteur on the Human Rights of Internally Displaced Persons Chaloka Beyani and the accompanying delegation visited on Saturday a number of temporary housing centers in Damascus and its countryside to inspect the conditions of the people staying in them.

In a statement to journalists, Beyani said that the goal of the visit is to evaluate the requirements and needs of displaced people, their living conditions, and available resources in order to figure out how to provide as much aid to them as possible.

He noted that most of the needs of the residents in these centers are being provided, but some other centers may require aid that isn’t being supplied.

In a statement to SANA, director of the Social Affairs Directorate in Damascus Countryside Fatima Rashid said that there are 242 temporary housing centers in the province in addition to 132 government-run centers, asserting that the Directorate is working hard to provide all essential, medical, psychological, and social services to the families staying in them.

She added that the Directorate is working with civil and official sides to provide food baskets every 45 days and provide the requirements of people with special needs such as wheelchairs and similar equipment."

"Damascus, SANA – UN Special Rapporteur on the Human Rights of Internally Displaced Persons Chaloka Beyani said he intends to increase cooperation with the Syrian government in the efforts aimed at providing relief and humanitarian aid to its citizens."

As a new round of Syria peace talks kicks off in Geneva, Syrians in government-controlled areas head to polling stations to elect a new parliament. Washington has dismissed the poll out of hand saying it doesn’t reflect "the will of the people."

US State Department spokesperson Mark Toner saidthat the US“would view those elections as not legitimate in the sense that they don’t represent… the will of the Syrian people.

“So, to hold parliamentary elections now, given the current circumstances, given the current conditions in the country, we believe is at best premature and not representative of the Syrian people,”Toner said.

Early last week Toner said that“a political process that reflects the desires and will of the Syrian people is what should ultimately decide the future leadership and the future government of Syria.”

The spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, on the contrary, noted in her Facebook account that the Syrian parliamentary election is a“major factor of stabilization in the country.”She also mentioned that the polling is absent from EU media coverage.

This isn't the first case of an election in a war-torn country in recent history. In December 2005, two years into the US invasion in Syria's neighbor Iraq, American forces organized parliamentary elections in that country. Washington presented that poll as a turning point on the way to settling the situation in an Iraq gripped by war.

“There is a lot of joy, as far as I’m concerned, in saying the Iraqi people accomplish this major milestone,”former US President George W. Bush said at the time.

Washington would only recognize Al-Qaeda vs Jaish al-Islam elections.

Peace in Syria as well as in Ukraine is not their goal. Too much money has been spent by the same people for the opposite goals.

Since americans put Assad puppets in Syria, do you know another person in the world who win the elections since 40 years?!! It's the Ass*ad in Syria.

Who is this opposition? and why they never win elections in 40 years?!

Who is this opposition?
A political settlement requires a political opposition. Your armed gangs neither constitute a political opposition nor do they have anything that is even similar to such an entity. Your armed gangs refused to negotiate, the statehood they establish in occupied areas in Syria is limited to sharia courts. There is no such thing as an political opposition among your armed gangs. All what they demand is that Assad steps down and they have no plan for the time after Assad´s resignation but to fight each other until the last bullet. While they have no plan, the West does have one, indeed:
Wie die Linkspartei den Krieg in Syrien unterstützt - World Socialist Web Site

However, the government and Kurdish and other opposition groups met in Moscow but all they could agree upon is that the terrorism in Syria must be stopped and no cooperation has been established, though the opposition groups firstly agreed to that.

and why they never win elections in 40 years?!
The Baath Party led government carried out referendums on its leading position.

However, you will fail to present me a western "model democracy" that underwent a political change as result of elections. Who is there that Syria has to match with?
