The Right want to cut Head Start and other entitlement programs to pay for tax cuts for the rich, two wars and pay down the debt that did not get us into the financial crisis. Head Start does work and it do give children a Head Start compared to Day Care that is a just a mother’s baby sitter. Head Start is a teaching tool. Most children that attend Head Start begin kindergarten already knowing what they would learn in kindergarten. Don’t take a rocket scientist to understand that. Comp. Immg. Reform is going to create a need for more Head Start spending and more spending in all areas of entitlements. Think about that Right Wingers when you support Comp. Immg. Reform. It is going to create more spending.

Bring back CETA and other jobs training programs for people who have dropped out of school to give them a head start.

We have a revenue problem created by Bush’s tax cuts for the rich, two unfunded wars, not an entitlement spending problem.

Taking from the poor will make the poor more dependent on entitlements and create more spending. Entitlement spending did not cause financial crisis of the Bush era and should not have to be cut to pay down the debt.

Don’t make my children and grandchildren pay for tax cuts for the rich and the two unfunded ongoing wars.

If you took every last cent of wealth from the American people, including the "rich", it would not be a drop in the bucket.

The name of the game is to decrease spending, but no one is willing to do it. The only reason the democrats have been successful is that they have successfully sold the American people on the idea that we should punish the rich for the debt, even though their contributions are negligible, even if you took every last penny from them.

Of course no one wants to decrease spending. In fact, all they do is increase the size and scope of government every year that further increases spending. Both parties are guilty and neither party has any substinative plan to deal with the problem.
