That's not logical, according to the "free" market ideology, prices are determined by supply and demand. There is a price that maximizes profit, it doesn't matter if you tax that profit by 10%, 20% or 30%, the price that maximizes profit is still the same.

I'm a landlord, and if our city increases our property tax, I have to increase rental prices. So do my competitors in this city. We all get taxed together and we all pass on that expense to our tenants together.
The same holds true for any business. If the federal government taxes my widget factory, I have to increase the prices of my widgets just like my competitors do.
