Teacher in Ireland arrested and put in prison for not using woke pronouns

When "so what" is your only defense, you ain't got one.
Look this guy should not have violated a court order and should have taken the issue up through the appropriate channels whatever they may be in Ireland.

He surely could have consulted the labor board or union or whatever is the proper channels in his country but he chose to violate a court order. It's his own fault he got arrested.

Rosa should have gone to the white city council and told them the rules were wrong. If they did that we would still have segregation now.

Why should I comment on a failed analogy.

This guy had legal recourse that he could have pursued but instead he chose to violate a specific court no trespass order.

I have "legal recourse" to own a revolver in NYC, it just takes me 6 months and $500 in fees to do so.

Legal recourse is an excuse.

And then there is the true story.

According to Irish media, which quoted Justice Michael Quinn, Burke was placed on paid administrative leave from Wilson’s Hospital School, County Westmeath, on Aug. 22, following an alleged dispute over the use of pronouns for a transgender student.

The suspension was pending the conclusion of a disciplinary process (here , here, here and here ).

The school’s Board of Management (BoM) later secured a temporary High Court order that prevented Burke from attending the school premises or teaching classes after he was said to not be adhering to the terms of his suspension.

On Sept. 5, Burke was found guilty of contempt of court for continuing to attend the school premises.
That changes nothing you loon.

The man is being persecuted for not using made up pronouns in your made up fantasy world.

His job should never have been taken away, much like children should not be taught improper pronouns or called "furries" in school so they can use a liter instead of a toilet because the child insists they are a cat.

There is absolutely no comparison to Rosa parks.

Blacks were discriminated against for who they were genetically

This guy was not. He could have easily avoided the entire situation by refusing to call any student any pronouns and instead simply used their names. He wanted to make a point. His employer disagreed with his conduct then this teacher chose to violate a no trespass order

Back to Rosa there was no legal order that specifically denied her access to a privately owned vehicle

Fascism, not semi-fascism.

It's what they all voted for in Ireland and around the woke world, like Germans who voted for Nazis back in the day.

Make no mistake, democracy is how the National Socialists came to power.
OP is a lie.

I'm pretty sure he's fired now. They also don't say if this case happened in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland...

That's a matter for a civil court. Once this guy started tresspassing on school property, he crossed several lines.
It is a process of canceling people who are not woke.

Don't like our made up rules in our made up fantasy world? Fine, you won't have a job.

Now enjoy your freedom cuz we are not fascists after all.

Then he should have taken the issue up through appropriate channels. Violating a court order is not the appropriate channel

He was persecuted for his religious and moral beliefs, there is a comparison. You just don't like it.

Rosa was trying to make a point as well.

Should Rosa Parks have done that instead of refusing to take a seat in back of the bus?
