Everyone wants China (and other under-developed nations like India) to stop their horrible polluting and energy mix.
And w should press them harder.
But they point out they use nowhere near the energy per person we do, and they have a 'right' to get more of their populations out of poverty.
Nonetheless, we should Press them much harder to change the mix of their old and new plants to a more green one.

As per global warming chart, climate change has led to 2020 and 2016 being around 1.2 degrees Celsius hotter than the average temperature during the 19th century.

Shows exactly the same thing, just with a different scale. And we are seeing the results of this increase now with increasing extreme weather events every decade.
