Not according to the law.If they are seeking asylum, they have a legal right to be here until their cases are decided.
Only if they come to a legal port of entry.
Gawd you're stupid. Buh bye
Not according to the law.
Not according to the law.
Anything can be possible, but not probable. It's possible that Biden changed the law, or the regulation, to facilitate
the illegal invasion he has encouraged.
How?I’m not sure what your point is. It’s been repeatedly stated the vast majority of asylum seekers aren’t granted asylum.
Did you actually read the TRAC report or just Brietbart’s spin on it?
This is an analysis of a particular program designed to expedite the process (which is needed).
Using detailed case-by-case Immigration Court records, this report is the first full-scale national assessment of whether the program has lived up to these goals. We found in brief:
How does this translate into “liars”?
- Cases did in fact move expeditiously: 83% of closed cases were completed in less than 300 days from the date of the NTA. Cases without attorneys were closed faster than those with attorneys.
- Only 34% found representation in closed cases, falling far short of announced objectives. [2]
- Only 33% were able to file an asylum application in closed cases since the paperwork is difficult to complete without representation.
- Only 7% were granted asylum since even with representation, and after filing asylum applications, families with expedited hearing schedules were much less likely to prevail and be granted asylum.
Gawd you're stupid. Buh bye

That is correct they don't have to be at a port of entry ...
They don't even have to be on our soil or in our territorial waters to petition Asylum here.
Of course, the other point of contest in the original comment ...
Is that the law doesn't require us to house them on our soil or within our territorial waters ...
Even if they are interdicted on our soil or in our territorial waters.
It's not like they have a "right" to anything as far as that is concerned ...
As long as we don't put them in a place engaged in active combat or warfare.
That's what we were talking about earlier in regard to the idea that a lot of what people think is just a mess.
.
It is now easier than ever for them to do it the legal way:
An "inhumane monster" is someone who sends a busload of migrants to a blue sanctuary city?
You people are pathetic.
Yes, endangering lives is inhuman.![]()
White House assails Texas Governor Abbott over Christmas Eve migrant drop
The White House accused Texas Governor Greg Abbott of endangering lives after busloads of migrants were dropped near Vice President Kamala Harris' home in Washington, D.C., on a cold Christmas Eve.www.reuters.com
Inhumane is endangering their lives.
Yes, endangering lives is inhuman.
How many have died being transported by plane or bus from Texas to other cities?
How many illegal aliens and border patrol agents have died since President Biden and his handlers, opened our Southern border? Biden invited illegal aliens to our country with no requirements. How are these enticements compassionate and humane?
Who best exemplifies Christianity here? Those who would drop people off on the side of the road in freezing weather or those who quickly come into action to help them?
Claudia Tristán, a volunteer with the Migrant Solidarity Mutual Aid Network, spent the wee hours of Sunday helping feed 140 migrants who were left by the roadside on Christmas Eve outside Vice President Kamala Harris' official residence, the Naval Observatory.
Volunteers spring into action after migrants left outside Vice President Harris' home
Nobody cares what you think "should" happen.
Where are these exemplary Christians helping out all the migrants here? Why don't they fly to El Paso where they can meet migrants sleeping in the airport?
This is great, right? Everyone in El Paso and all along Texas' southern border can just deal with this. Right?

Easier ... Yes ... More applicable and responsible ... Not so much.
What you posted ... Is exactly what a lot of people are talking about when referring to our government advertising "positions available" ...
With no respect whatsoever for anything that slightly resembles our current Immigration Laws as decided by Congress and passed into Legislation.
Anyone can type Eligibility Requirements for Asylum in their search engine ...
And get a plethora of links to all kinds of official forms one can fill out in order to claim Asylum.
None of which means they are actually eligible for Asylum ...
But they will enter the court process and the up to two-year journey ...
unless they fill out the extra form to expedite the process with another possibly unfounded claim.
And ... Woo-Hoo, here we go again ... So, people can say we need to pay for their housing, healthcare or whatnot and hire more judges ...
Because spending money we don't have, fulfilling obligation we are not required to ... Is just the right thing to do ...
