Texas secession petition on White House website fast approaching 25,000-signatures!

Of course, both parties support the NDAA which allows government to arrest and detain without due process, a clear Constitutional abomination. Of course, none will use it......until it is needed. After all, if they use it the legislation will immediatly be challenged by the courts. I dare say not even judge Roberts could make this peice of legislation stick. As a result, my guess it is there in case they wish to impose marshall law at any point.

The question you should ask is if Texas was to secede, how many other states would follow?

I would think pretty much the entire south minus Florida. Then you could possibly throw in Indiana, Montana and maybe a couple of others west of the Mississippi River.

It's never going to happen, but you have to look at the whole picture and what something like this would do to the country.

It could very well happen if stupid fuck ideologues like Feinstein and her ilk pursue their fascist utopianism at all costs.

Here is a clue, fuckhead: the most vulnerable part of putting a tank on the battlefield or any other advanced weapon is the logistical train required to maintain it. And that is vastly exposed to civilian targetting.

Those prehistoric guerrillas that we like to call brave soldiers defeated a British army that vastly outnumbered them.

Size means nothing in war. It's just as much a weakness as it is a strength. Smaller attack forces are also more mobile, precise. Larger forces can be pilfered for supplies to supplement the opposition.

You can do a lot of damage at once against large forces with devices such as land mines, grenades, and bombs.

Against small forces, you'll take out a limited number of casualties.

Small attack forces coming into a large, defended position also have the benefit of geography. If things turn sour, they can retreat. The defenders are pretty much locked in.
