Texas sends first bus to Chicago

What makes you think the border was under control under trump?! Wasn’t there a surge just before COVID?

But did Trump invite the fuckers in? Why the fuck are you even arguing over any of this? We all know which party it is, that is going out of their way to encourage these people to get here, and which party works to keep them here. For instance, sanctuary states and cities are a Dimocrat creation. It's no accident, that we are now seeing record #'s flooding in, Biden told them to "surge the border".

Again, this is all you need to see when asking why the flood is worse now than before Biden too office:

After the candidates spent most of the first half hour of the debate discussing how each would handle providing healthcare in the U.S., host Savannah Guthrie asked the contenders to raise their hands if their individual vision for government coverage would include undocumented immigrants.

You’re lying about the invitation quote. Why can’t you just be honest ?

You really want to stand by your comments here?
First of all, sending them back to Mexico is the responsibility of the Feds, not states. Anytime Abbott has sent busloads back to the border, he risks violating federal law.
NO, he doesn't.
According to Mark Brnovich, Arizona’s attorney general has called on the governor to declare the wave of immigrants coming in an “invasion” so the state can “defend itself.”

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich claims in a new legal opinion that Republican Gov. Doug Ducey can declare the Grand Canyon State to be under “invasion” in order to begin deporting suspected illegal immigrants — but Ducey appears reluctant to do so.

Republican Arizona state Rep. Jake Hoffman requested the opinion, which was published Monday night, after former Trump administration officials Ken Cuccinelli and Russ Vought proposed last year that border states like Arizona dust off an obscure provision in the Constitution to address the border crisis.

Cuccinelli told The Post that “this obviously turns attention now not just to Gov. Ducey in Arizona — though that’s the logical first place — but over to Texas and people asking, ‘Well, why don’t you do this?'”

When are republicans ever concerned about breaking federal law?
When they want to shift blame.

Second, by bussing them to blue sanctuary cities, it makes the news cycle and will focus and highlight the crisis that Texas and other border states are having to deal with, as well as rids Texas of at least some of these invaders.
Of course, and these self-proclaimed "conservatives" are willing to spend millions of taxpayer $$$ to do so.
Like sending the National Guard to the border to do...............NOTHING, but sit in the hot sun.

If I were an American citizen, I would be happy to get a free bus ride from a shithole blue city like Chicago, to a red state!
Chicago to Gary Indiana is 30 miles, barely an hour on a bus.
You'll be at your destination before you finish your cup of orange kool-aid.

To take them to Mexico is not a good idea as they just come back over the border and the cycle is repeating.
But you want the federal government to do the same thing?

Biden already does not care if people are streaming over the border and the resources in Texas are strained,
They couldn't be that strained.

The state of Texas has spent more than $12 million busing migrants to Washington, DC, and New York who crossed into the state from Mexico, according to figures from the Texas Division of Emergency Management.
A state government spread sheet shows that, as of August 9, Texas has paid $12,707,720.92 to Wynne Transportation, the charter service that is taking migrants to the two cities.

The cost of each bus is approximately $83,000, bringing the total to date to around $3.5 million, according to the governor's office, which said about two to three buses depart Arizona per week, based on demand.

Now, THAT'S corporate welfare.
I gots to buy me a bus.
let's let the left and their wanting illegal immigrants in the country go where they can be most productive,
Yep, all those company owners will hire them in a heartbeat instead of Americans, then whine about immigration.

In fact, right now, even during his presidential campaign, Trump is using undocumented workers in the construction project to convert Washington, D.C.’s Old Post Office Pavilion into a luxury hotel. Reuters even reviewed Department of Labor data that suggests Trump-owned businesses have tried to gain visas for over one thousand temporary workers from outside the United States since 2000. The forms show these aren’t jobs Americans won’t do. They are positions for waitress, cook, vineyard worker, golf-course superintendent, hotel manager, banquet manager, and maid for Mar A Lago.

Donald Trump’s businesses, run by his children, have employed undocumented immigrants for years. After numerous media reports about these immigrants being mistreated and then fired, the president’s son Eric yesterday announced a new company policy to deal with the problem. He said that the Trump Organization now plans to institute the federal E-Verify program in every one of its golf clubs, hotels and resorts.

nice cities like NY, Chicago, DC and other places where the left is welcoming them. It's a win for everyone!
Trump Tower-NYC.
Trump international hotel and tower- Chicago.

How is it stupid to move illegals into cities that want and welcome illegal immigrants? The big sanctuary cities get to employee the hard working illegals and Texas gets border relief, it is a win win. The price for transporting an illegal immigrant on a bus is about $230 per person.
One-Way. Brownsville To New York. 08/04/2022. Starting from. $364.

The cost of each bus is approximately $83,000, bringing the total to date to around $3.5 million, according to the governor's office, which said about two to three buses depart Arizona per week, based on demand.

That's a big bus.

I was taking you seriously until your Trump obsession kicked in. Trump isn’t President, he is just a civilian and I hope he never returns to an elected office.

The state of Texas is spending $850 million a year on illegal immigration, so $12 million is a piece of cake, plus taking the illegal immigrants to where they want to go lets all the big sanctuary cities do what they want to do and that is welcome all their new friends.

Why were you not upset when Obama shipped refugees all over the country? Seems strange that you didn’t mind Obama helping to spread the refugees but are upset that Texas is taking up other states offers to help.

Texas pays $850,000,000 a year to take care of illegal immigrant, I think moving them to where they want to go and to states and cities that welcome them with open arms is a win/win.

Texas is callously playing with the lives of real people for politics.
Callously? The illegals Get a chance to move out of harsh border conditions to go to a city that welcomes and wants them, how is that callous? Were you claiming politics when refugees came to the US to mainly east coast cities and callously shipped to small communities that had to absorb them?

That's the thing, Abott DIDN'T.
Obama made sure they had the help they needed, warned them and gave them federal $$$.
Obama was president.
Abbott's a governor, who dumped them, without warning.

They are going to a city they want to go to, and the city wants them, these sanctuary cities have been open to having them there, this is a win/win. They are going from a state that is getting dumped on with tens of thousands of illegal immigrants a week, that are stretching resources to the limit and going to cities that for years have said they welcome them with open arms, it’s a win/win, not seeing an issue.
