Oklahoma Records More Than 10 Quakes In 2 Days...

Two Oklahoma earthquakes recorded today; nine recorded Wednesday
Thursday, October 23, 2014 ~ The U.S. Geological Survey recorded two Oklahoma earthquakes today and nine Oklahoma earthquakes on Wednesday.
At 1:06 a.m., a 2.7 magnitude quake recorded about 14 miles west-northwest of Pawnee. Then, at 2:06 a.m., a 3.0 magnitude quake recorded about 10 miles south of Medford.

The largest of the nine Oklahoma earthquakes recorded Wednesday was a 3.5 magnitude quake recorded 10:58 a.m. about 9 miles east-northeast of Mooreland.

During the past seven days, the USGS recorded 45 Oklahoma earthquakes. During the past 30 days, the USGS recorded 133 Oklahoma earthquakes. The largest during that timeframe was a 4.3 magnitude quake Oct. 10 near Cushing, according to the USGS.
