When you live in a world where people who go to Harvard and Yale adopt socialism as a means to an end you have little recourse other than to exercise the freedom so many died for by using your vote for a leader that represents the people not the state. This was the height of arrogance and a failure to understand the basic evil of pure socialism which always devolves into totalitarianism.

Our founders recognized this, so they encouraged us to construct our government from the bottom up, not the top down, with our votes. They knew that the people would instinctively recognize when a government used propaganda to turn the people against one another.

The 2020 US presidential election is an ugly crossroads where an obnoxious, self-righteous government poisoned the integrity of the vote to hold on to power. They used a national emergency to enlist a hostile, mercenary force, the US Postal Service, that saw the election of the people’s choice as the possible end of their unionized existence, to contaminate the voting structure with fraud.

Their goal was to overthrow the election with corruption, and they may possibly succeed because propaganda is powerful, and many media outlets are jumping ship like rats to survive the aftermath. Faith in our election process has been destroyed forever, only fools cannot see that.

The people had to line up behind a leader who was unpolished, and some would say uncouth because he was the only one not corrupted with and controlled by the power of the growing socialist state. Sham investigations have been ubiquitous since his election and now a rigged election is poised to stand with no investigation at all.

Trump was pretty close to winning. Honestly, re-election was his to lose. He has an extremely loyal base that has insulated themselves from outside information. His turnout was very good on Election Day. I don’t think it would have taken much to push him over the edge. Maybe the vaccine news would have helped. Maybe landing a large stimulus package would have done it. I don’t know but he was close.

Actually Trump saw the writing on the wall. The economy was struck by the coronavirus, and as James Carville told Clinton in 1992, "It's the economy stupid".

Trump tried to keep the economy up, by playing the virus down. But as Sir Isaac Newton said, whatever goes up, must come down. But Trump took a partisan view, seeing the virus striking chiefly democratic states, he was happy to see the virus rage away, and did little to get it under control.

But when it spread, as it was bound to do, to his "red" states, it was too late to do anything to control it, and it spiraled out of control.

The coronavirus hurt the economy, and the economy hurt Trump.
