the abandoning of Bagram may have demoralized Afghan troops .

We’ve been pretty clear we are leaving. Why would they think we would still be providing air support?
Yeah even blaming Trump for freeing 5K taliban and never even involving the Afghanis in the "peace deal" was demoralizing .... BUT their army was not gonna fight on its own. Nation building was going to fail back in 2001

So a supposed enlisted jerk is now a strategist?

Ohh
And besides being a contentious A-hole, what is your qualification as an expert here?

You have zero self awareness, clearly. And zero expertise of what's going on in Afghanistan.

Did Joe's brilliant decision to simply shut down Bagram in the middle of the night deflate and
demoralize what was already our shaky allies in Afghanistan?

What do you think, genius.

Think of yourself in a street fight and when you look around your "buddies" have simply piled into
a car and left you all alone to face five angry bone breakers all by yourself.
What sort of fucking idiot would simply shut down our infrastructure while all our people were stuck inside
Afghanistan?

"The Americans were evacuated from the base, but more than 40 people remained there, including Ukrainians, Georgians, Romanians and Bulgarians."
Guys, let's knock this quote out in stone, right above the entrance to the NATO headquarters in Brussels.
It will be beautiful. Won't it?
And above the base there should have been an inscription: "Jedem das Seine"
