This is a fascinating video that chronicles the 300-400 odd years that this empire ruled, at its height it contained the 2 greatest cities in the world in Babylon and Ninevah, and it came of age around the end of the Bronze Age and the beginning of the Iron Age. It occupied the fertile crescent and expanded it's reach all the way to the Mediterranean.
Even though 3 hours long I never lost interest in it, because the videography is so amazing. The drone footage of the ruins interspersed with video recreations of the past is great, but it's the closeups of the artifacts from this period, especially the carvings that depicted so many key events.
This is a great YouTube channel.
