Since the early 80s and a lawsuit between AT&T and the IRS, Reagan, Moynahan and many Corporations came up with a plan to replace Computer Programmers with those who would do the work for less money...Chinese and Japanese Business Visas were brought in by the thousands and almost all programmers, including those Business Visas from Europe with Advanced Degrees were sent packing.

Post 9/11, Bill Gates had his attorneys come up with the “lacking the skillset” phrase and sent the Japanese and Chinese back home favoring the even cheaper Indians.

None of these Business Visas were required to undergo interviews.

Trump has been discussing this issue for over 20 years and is now forcing companies to fly only 1 per company and subject these H1-Bs to 3 hour interviews in their supposed skillset.
The interviews are conducted by the companies in the presence of US government employees who possess the same skillset and have at least a Masters.

Current H1-Bs are only being renewed based on the same conditions.

99% of the BVs are failing the interviews.

Small and large businesses are losing their sanity but Americans are getting these jobs for the 1st time since 2004.

The second best thing about the Trump presidency? So many to chose from! Maybe the way he destroys families for sport on our southern border. Or the way he characterizes the free press as the "enemy of the people".

Of course the way he frames falsehood as fact, fact as lie, lie as honesty. His whacky casual relationship with the truth.

I marvel at the way he panders to the wealthy yet has the hoy poloy still eating from his Big Mac stained small hands.

I admire his shape shifting trickster antics spinning "no collusion" into "if it was collusion, there's no crime in it" as if the term criminal conspiracy to defraud just never existed.

Maybe the way he embraces hatred over unity, division over consensus and white supremacy as a divine right.

But, without a doubt, I think the best part of the Trump presidency is the respect and admiration he holds for each and every American no matter if they were captured during wartime,,sacrificed one or more of their offspring in service to American, suffer a physical disability, hold Mexican heritage or be a woman. Trump treats everyone with the dignity and respect every American deserves.

I think Putin answered that question pretty darn well just a few days ago.
