Every one knows of the Big Orange Head’s greed and total lack of ethics. These two character flaws, and his hatred of former President Obama are making one decision extremely difficult for him.
Making the situation even worse, is a campaign promise he made, and must keep, to a certain large, conservative group. Why is keeping this particular promise so perplexing? Because keeping it would contradict a new American policy recently created by the Big Orange Head and his staff. Big Orange and his team have spent months making this new policy perfectly clear to the world that, dictators, autocrats, monarchists and others with contempt for human rights will find a new friend in the White House.
The factors listed above are what have the Big Orange Head in such a quandary, and it all boils down to a single issue. That being, if he fails to roll back “one of President Barack Obama’s most significant foreign policy achievements,” he reneges on his promise “to a crucial constituency that disproportionately supported him.” And, he would p!ss off “Cuban-American lawmakers who have been agitating for a harder line on Cuba, including Senator Marco Rubio and Representative Mario Diaz-Balart, both Republicans of Florida.”
But, the Big Orange Head’s hatred for Obama might just be the more powerful in this case, forcing him to keep his promise to roll back the former president’s Cuban policy. But, to accomplish this he must put up a very, very strong fight against his own greedy and corrupt nature, which demands his administration embrace the Cuban dictator, thus enabling the Big Orange Head’s corporations and his family to exploit this lucrative tourist market just a stone's throw from Florida.
After reading this OP, conservatives will be every bit as perplexed as their hero, the Big Orange Head. For they too hate Obama, and would really like to see every trace of his presidency erased. (Although, most will regret this when they lose their health insurance.)
But as loyal conservatives, their deep admiration for the top one percent’s greed and corruption makes them want Big Orange to have every opportunity possible to line his pockets (and those of the other billionaires) while he is in the White House.
The Big Orange Head should take comfort in the knowledge that all of his minions are in the same quandary as he. Should he make good on a campaign promise, or make hundreds-of-millions of dollars by, yet again, abusing his power and profiting from another conflict-of-interest.
What ever the Big Orange Head decides, the idiot conservatives will be there to faithfully defend him. They can do nothing else.
