Of course they didn't, they passed the ACA without reading it first. However, did any Dems know the truth about You Can Keep Your Insurance, Reimbursement To the Insurance Companies, and the ridiculous Types os Insurance that everyone had to have regardless of age, sex etc. during the reelection?
The word now is that Obama wants Unions exempt from Obamacare. This would need a Legislative Bill. It will never get out of the House which will pitt Republicans against Unions.

Actually, they did know because they were told so years ago. That doesn't stop them from invoking pretzel logic or outright lies to attempt to cover up the lie that is making their seat uncomfortable.

It's absolutely ridiculous how far away from reality these democrats and their sycophants dwell. You'd think they literally were from an alternative universe. One where failure is success, lies are the truth and if you like your healthcare plan you can keep it.

I am sure many Dems were mislead as well, and actually fell for their own party's lies, when in actuality they are known for just that. Really dumb mistake on their part and one they will probably pay dearly for, unless the dead come out in droves again.

While we have democrats in the senate screaming about millions getting the policies they liked cancelled--they did in fact know about it in July 2010--and in fact voted against a FIX that would have enabled Americans to actually keep their current plans.

Washington (CNN) - Senate Democrats voted unanimously three years ago to support the Obamacare rule that is largely responsible for some of the health insurance cancellation letters that are going out.

In September 2010, Senate Republicans brought a resolution to the floor to block implementation of the grandfather rule, warning that it would result in canceled policies and violate President Barack Obama’s promise that people could keep their insurance if they liked it.
Senate Democrats supported rule that led to insurance cancellations ? CNN Political Ticker - CNN.com Blogs

All 16 Senate democrats that are running for re-election in 2014 not only voted for Obamacare but voted AGAINST the fix in 2010.

As far as the Unions getting a bailout:
Legislation in this administration has become a White House memo. Obama had no legal authority or constitutional authority to extend the employer mandates into 2014 or even remand the millions of now canceled policies. Only congress can vote on that. So it wouldn't surprise me in the least if he sends out another memo regarding the unions getting an Obamacare bail-out.
