A) I am an adult... most FFOs/Socialists/etc... are not.
1) An adult is someone who understands that there is not a Santa Claus
2) An adult is someone who would rather teach a person how to fish then feed the person.

B) I am principled....most FFOs,etc. are ideologues i.e. party is everything ...everything else is second.
1) I would rather follow simple principles like "do unto others as you'd have others do unto you".
2) I believe principles are for the most part immutable and FFOs don't understand the word "immutable"!

C) Finally I believe that the best system so far to improve society has been the economic principles
that are exemplified by the USA economy over the years.

The only people that really need government help can't get enough because there are so many people getting help that don't need it.

Just two Q's: What's the Do Unto Others part of banning gay marriage? And if there is no Santa Claus, money doesn't grow on trees, why are so unwilling to have a rational policy about infants too sick to try and save and old people better off dead?

One of the most important parts of growing up is learning to think critically. A major obstacle to thinking critically is making everything about yourself. Everything you said was really just a demonstration of how self centered your thinking process is and why you struggle to think critically.

OK, you want to murder new-born babies and old people. The Germans went down that road in the 1930's, and the Netherlands is doing it today. You know where that goes, don't you?

I know that you have just proven already that you cannot be rational about these issues. You made it exactly 12 words before yelling Nazi...

OK, what should I call a person who wants to euthanize babies and the old? You admitted that you want to save money by ending human lives. What are you if Nazi is not the right word?

So?
I was pointing out in MYSELF the difference between being a principled driven, adult and FFOs,LIPs i.e. progressives/Socialists/Santa Claus believers.
I want others to succeed so they can be independent as I've seen too many cases where dependent people end up a real mess.

No you really just want to make things about yourself. Even complex things like poverty and what to do about it.

This is a very typical thinking process for certain types of people.

Rational. And that makes you, irrational.

"Poverty"? Have you ever had to on a regular basis as a child use an outdoor outhouse? A regular basis have to go using an outdoor toilet?
Did you ever eat squirrel or rabbits you helped raise as a kid? Did you EVER shovel snow, mow lawns, deliver papers, work in gardens and the money and food was used BY the family? Taking a bath once a week as there was NO bathtub or shower! Is that poverty?
Would you consider then our family of 4 kids were living in "poverty"?
We didn't! We never had food stamps, unemployment, section 8 housing, cell phones,etc..
My Dad was an ordinary laborer and Mom stayed at home! We never considered ourselves poor EVEN though by today's standards lived in poverty!
So don't give me any crap about "poverty"!

Once again, one of the important parts of thinking critically is not making everything about yourself.

Poverty, from the societal level, is very complex and can't simply be explained away like you have tried to.

Critical thinking skills have to be developed and the first thing I suggest you do is to try and take a step back from your own emotions concerning poverty.

What an idiot comment. Proof you don't EVER check before you open your mouth? Do a little research before you criticize someone else!

YOU said... "Not making everything about yourself"....

The below "Experts" on Critical thinking used the personal pronouns "I" and "my" 14 times!
IDIOT... If that is not using "yourself" as part of the critical thinking you so stupidly point out that I was shrift in... emote again!

You copy and pasted a list about improving your critical thinking skills. Of course the list includes the word "I" but that doesn't mean anything you listed suggests you make everything about yourself.

Again... you missed the point of critical thinking!
There is only one person that thinks of yourself and that is YOURSELF!
Critical thinking people KNOW that from the beginning i.e. "Cogito ergo sum!!!
If you don't comprehend that maybe another way of explaining might help...
"observer effect refers to changes that the act of observation will make on a phenomenon being observed."
Without taking in consideration the "self" the observations are flawed.
So what did you learn from the above points?
A) You can't do critical thinking without including the "self"
B) By not taking in consideration the "self" the observations are flawed.

Hope that helps clarify that I was as any critical person does considers the self in any observation i.e. I consider myself in comparison obviously to FFOs like you
as following principles rather than ideology. I consider dealing with logic and facts rather then hyperbole, one offs, exaggerations as your President does.
