Ohio Started Using Driver's License Photos For Facial Recognition Software Two Months Ago Without Informing the Public - Liberty Crier

More than two months ago, Ohio law enforcement officers began using facial recognition technology, scanning databases of driver’s license photos and mug shots to identify crime suspects. The Cinncinnati Enquirer reports that this was all done without first informing the public, and without reviewing security rules for the system.

The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles decided about five months ago to back off the Real ID compliance plan approved by the federal Department of Homeland Security, but it never made a public announcement about the change.

So tell me why obama doesn't want people to show an ID to vote?

The Constitution has no such requirement.

True.

Time to disband the Army. And have those with guns do as the second amendment provides for..and defend the nation.

The savings would be enormous.

Ohio is a police state controlled by Republicans.

That makes no sense, a police state would want to enforce this type of ID law.
So guess what that's a big fat fail.

No reason not to have a national ID linked to some biometric

The National ID has been around awhile now, maybe going back to the first Patriot Act.
An argument has even been used that it could curtail illegal immigration. Just a bad idea all around.

Let's go back to the original post. Not all states are using it and Ohio started then stopped using it.
