So the Governor of the state, who was trying to save money by switching to the nasty Flint River, is now blaming everyone else. Is he the Governor or just a part time caretaker? This is a typical GOP blame game.
It's like Christie trying too blame everybody for his bridge scandal.
Let's take it a step further. Republicans are often quite sinister. Flint as city engineers who know the condition of Flint's infrastructure including the lead pipes and the acidity and over all quality of the river water. I high school student knows that acidic water can dissolve lead. This is a problem in homes with copper pipes that were soldered with lead.
Republicans seem to have a unnatural hatred for the environment and children. It's hard to believe that Snyder's advisers didn't warn him about this. I suspect that he had a conversation that went something like this:
Expert: Governor, we must warn you that the pipes going to homes and business in Flint are lead.
Governor Snyder: Yeah so what?
Expert: The water from the already polluted Flint River had a very high Ph.
Governor Snyder: Yeah so what?
Expert: The acidity of the water will dissolve the lead and cause it to leach lead ions into the the drinking water.
Governor Snyder: Yeah so what?
Expert: Lead is a neurotoxin and it can cause irreparable brain damage in human beings.
Governor Snyder: Most of Flint's population is ******* and as a Republican I hate *******. Is there any way we can add more acid to the water?
What a big pile of shit you just crapped out!
