It pretty well came out that she was fired because the Rump knew that she would refuse to cooperate with his attempt to use the funds for blackmail routine. She was replaced by one that would overlook the fact it was against the best interest of both the US and Ukrainians. There is no doubt that Rump was setting things up to blackmail the Ukraine Leader into do an investigation into something for Political Gain for Rump alone. She would have refused and Rump had to not only get rid of her but destroy her in the process. He did get rid of her but, in the end, failed to destroy her. He ends up looking like the wannabe cheap Despot that he really is.
