The Four States GOP Needs To Flip To Win In 2016

 The media probably wont bring this up anytime soon, but they should. There are probably four or five combinations of states that could give Walker or Cruz a victory. The most probable one that should bring them just over 270 electoral votes is:Florida, Wisconsin, Ohio and Colorado. Now this would be a likely scenario if we have a Walker/Rubio ticket. Four other states that may also flip red/purple are Nevada, Iowa, New Mexico and Maryland. Although many of you aren't thrilled over Marco Rubio, He or Ted Cruz will be our only hope of taking Florida. So what do you all think?:iagree:

It seems really unlikely that Walker or Cruz will be the nominee. Walker because he's just not very good at speaking. Cruz, because he's just too extreme for the GOP.

Rubio or Bush would have a better pitch for Florida.

Maryland?
well didn't Maryland vote in a Red Governor?
Because the alternative was O'Malley's successor, and no one really liked him enough. Logan was just bi-partisan enough to slip through the democratic net, and become governor.

But as far as Presidential campaigns go, it is clearly a deep blue state, not a flip state.

And yet they've never done that in the past. Maryland hasn't had a Republican Senator in 40 years. Seven out of their eight members of Congress are Democrats and their state legislature is over 2/3 Democratic. Reagan was the only president in the last 40 years to win the state and that was in 1984 when he won every state except Minnesota.

There is zero chance the Republican candidate will win Maryland next year. They'd be more likely to flip California first.

The party of a state's governor has zero bearing on how the state will vote for president.

Our only hope is that Conservatives keep flocking to Florida and move to red areas. It's almost pointless to move to a blue county where fraud exists. just like the blue districts in the Philly area that gave Romney 0 votes!
