5 states allowed some form of abortion at the time of Roe.

The SCOTUS didn't stop abortion. They put the legal part of it back in the hands of the states.

I believe it started when Republicans went after Bill Clinton. Hear me out:

It was almost – it just seemed like she was going to really look to impeach Bush and get him out of office, which personally I think would’ve been a wonderful thing,” Trump told Blitzer in the interview.


“Impeaching him?” Blitzer asked.

“Absolutely. For the war. For the war,” said Trump, referring to the 2003 invasion of Iraq. “Well, he lied. He got us into the war with lies, and I mean, look at the trouble Bill Clinton got into with something that was totally unimportant and they tried to impeach him, which was nonsense. And yet Bush got us into this horrible war with lies. By lying. By saying they had weapons of mass destruction. By saying all sorts of things that turned out not to be true.”

Seems to me either Trump agreed with me 100% before he decided to run as a Republican OR he was for witch hunts before he became president.

What about Lock Her Up? Trump said that shit. Then cried when he got charged? Wow.

Trump cried about Hillary using private emails, then we find out everyone on Team Trump uses private emails. But none of you cared.

Trump made what Hillary did a felony and then he did it. He mishandled classified documents. And he would have gotten away with it if he would have just handed over the top secret shit when the FBI asked. Instead Trump hid documents and lied to them. How come no one cares what the fuck he was doing with that shit???

Sorry Republicans, but you're not scaring people with that anymore.

Today's internet age has given Americans a view into the way other countries operate. They see the countries of Europe with their high taxes and government benefits to the masses, and see hundreds of millions of better educated, healthier, happier people than in America. Communist countries such as China and Viet Nam have economies that have proven reasonably stable, with qualities of life far above the 3rd world standards of the past. Mention socialism to those under 40, with little or no memory of the cold war, and it barely rates a shrug. Right wing predictions of America turning into a socialist hellhole during the Clinton, Obama, and Biden administrations never materialized. Sorry Republicans, you'll have to find another scare tactic. This one isn't scary anymore.

The Republicans should read The Boy Who Cried Wolf as an object lesson.
