The Irony Between Ted Cruz Eligibility To Be President And Obama's

If one or more parents are a american citizen the child is a natural born american citizen unless they give it up....So to you crazy ass conspiracy theory Ron Paul loving fools Ted Cruz IS eligible to be president and like McCain so was Obama.

Except President Obama was born in the US unlike Cruz and McCain.

Why do liberals believe Obama is eligible to be President and Cruz is not?

Apparently, that irony escapes them.

By the way, I do not believe he is eligible for the presidency.

I don't think that Cruz is ineligible. There goes that theory.

So?

His wife was born in the right place. So just like Democraps who want Slick back can have him by voting for Hillary it's no biggie to elect Mrs. Cruz.

The one difference between Obama and Cruz, assuming Obama was born in Kenya and Cruz in Canada, was that technically Obama's mother did not meet a federal residency requirement that was in force at Obama's birth, but not at Cruz's birth. It's a technicality, but it would make Obama "naturalized," not "natural-born."

The one difference between Obama and Cruz is that we KNOW Obama was born in Hawaii, and we KNOW Cruz was born in Canada. Any argument over it is pointless.

How do you know Obama was born in Hawaii? He has never presented a long form BC generated from a hospital! If you don't see the phoniness of what he presented, then you are biased and close-minded, and perhaps more than a bit stupid!:cuckoo:

MSNBC, CNN....wolf blitzer was all over this a few weeks ago...and we're THREE years away from a general election. The double standard here pokes your eyes out.

It probably would not be any issue at all had you birthers not made it an issue with Obama. I actually find it funny.

A birther calling someone else biased, close-minded, and stupid. I mean seriously.

Birfers are nothing if not clueless and unaware of their own inconsistencies. TurdDog and PoleRider/007 are perfect examples.

debatible

Since Obama's mother was an American citizen, it doesn't matter where he was born, does it?

Well, perhaps more accurately "gullible dumbasses" would be more appropriate!

How many states proposed legislation demanding candidates in primaries provide birth certificates? How many will do so if Ted Cruz runs?

A Tea Party favorite holding dual citizenship. Sort of like Nazis favoring Jewish candidates

I found this article by Cindy Simpson to be a fascinating read. She is right, indeed there is irony in the difference the way Obama's citizenship status was ignored in the 2008 and 2012 elections an how Ted Cruz citizenship is now being focused on even though he has never announced he will run for president in 2016. One thing is certain, the comments to the article seem to be in agreement with each other when it pertains to the founders original intent of what a natural born Citizen is. Also, I agree with Simpson about the Palin factor and how Cruz is being treated. Her assessment is accurate.

Articles: Natural Born Irony

Obama was born in Hawaii.

Cruz was born in Canada.

Next.

The only irony will be that the rightwingers who earned the nickname 'birthers' will NEVER go after Ted Cruz the way they went after President Obama.

You're wrong. Fox news has been having a lot of discussion panels lately with many stating Ted Cruz is not eligible due to the born allegiance factor. If you go to the conservative website Free Republic, it has a whole forum dedicated to Ted Cruz eligibility with many conservatives and GOP agreeing he is not Constitutionally eligible to be president. I mean you would think those posters there have access to the founders writings or access to he library of Congress archives. They historical stuff they are posting pertaining to eligibility is mindboggling and yet educational at the same time.\

Linking to other forums is a BAD idea.

fox news doesnt like cruz anymore then the like obama

cruz is a danger to the status quo

All candidates should be properly vetted. We wouldn't be in the mess we are now if Obama had been properly vetted. Geeez!
