Everyone who got involved with the violence on the left or the right was a "criminal". The real protestors, went home at dark. After dark, the looters, the criminals, and the anarchists came out. No member of BLM was arrested at ANY of these protests. There were very few leftists arrested at all, because nearly all of the violence, arson and looting, was started by criminals and right wing thugs.

Multiple witnesses and Rittenhouse's own testimony had him wandering the street, away from police lines, to avoid being sent home, pointing his weapon at random protestors, and threatening them, after crossing state lines with an illegal weapon. This was never going to end any differently than it did.

Your spectrum is fully incorrect. Fascism and communism are polar opposites. Dictatorship is the ultimate result of radicalism at either end of the spectrum with a Fascist Dictatorship being the far right outcome, and a Communist Dictatorship being the radical left wing outcome.

The USA is teetering on the bring of a fascist dictatorship. The second chart shows where on the political spectrum the current Canadian and US parties can be found. Democrats are nowhere near "socialism" or "radical leftists", but Republicans are closing in on right wing fascism.
