I myself did not vote for Hillary nor Donald. I voted for the CIA guy.

Trump amazed everyone including himself by winning however.

So far I am pleasantly surprised at DJ Trump's success in a few areas.

To wit:

- he has erased a lot of BH Obama's needless exec orders;

- he has gotten tough in Syria and A-stan;

- he has gotten Neil Gorsuch appointed to the SCOTUS;

- he has faced off against fat boy Kim in N.Korea.

So I am a pleasantly surprised non-Trump non-Hillary voter.

Whether any or all of the Trump voters is/are disillusioned I cannot say and would not know.

My sisters and their hubbies all voted for Trump and they are happy with him so far. They like VP Pence even more. They hated Hillary and still do.

So from my own anecdotal sample of 5 family members including myself there is no disillusionment here.

Sanctions on N.Korea and Russia have not been lifted at all.

Had Russia not supported Assad in his gassing of civilians, the Russian sanctions might have been lifted by now and joint oil drilling in Siberia by US and Russian companies might have already begun.

He voted more so "for the idea of trump" ... as in an outsider coming to take on the establishment and drain the swamp. I tried to explain to him that trump was the establishment and the people he were bringing with them worse swamp monsters.. I also tried explaining donnies inability to produce truthful statements and how that would likely affect his envisioned outcome. But he voted trump, and has found himself more and more angry with the passing day.
