The Occupy Wall Street Movement is WORKING!!!

OWS has done a great job.

They have drawn attention to Wall Street's $516 trillion dollar derivatives Ponzi scheme that destroyed the world economy.

s0n...if a bear shits in the forest, does it stink?

Nobody cares about OWS....as per every poll. Here in New York, people look at them as a group of nutters looking for a free ride..........same as the crack heads and homeless roaming the city.

If Wall Street shits gold bricks, will you swallow that too?

"I don't think the bad poll numbers for Occupy Wall Street reflect Americans being unconcerned with wealth inequality.

"Polling we did in some key swing states earlier this year found overwhelming support for raising taxes on people who make over $150,000 a year. In late September we found that 73% of voters supported the 'Buffett rule' with only 16% opposed.

"And in October we found that Senators resistant to raising taxes on those who make more than a million dollars a year could pay a price at the polls. I don't think any of that has changed- what the downturn in Occupy Wall Street's image suggests is that voters are seeing the movement as more about the 'Occupy' than the 'Wall Street.'

"The controversy over the protests is starting to drown out the actual message."

VIOLENT Occupy Carolina Sympathizer Threatens to Kill SC Governor Nikki Haley

When 26-year-old Nathan Shafer heard about the arrests of 19 Occupy Columbia members outside the State House last Wednesday, he did what lots of people do when they get angry -- he vented about it on the Internet. He saw Gov. Haley's Facebook post about the arrests and Haley's comment that she "appreciate freedom of speech," and that's when authorities say Shafer crossed the line.

"I hope someone murders you before I do," Shafer said he commented on the post. "How's that for freedom of speech?"

He is a moron.

But until he acts on his statement...he is free to make it.

And show us that the OWSers contain the same extremists that any group has.
Should the same tact be taken for ANY Government official...or just the POTUS?:eusa_whistle:

Death Threats are Bad.

What the Fuck is with you and your Babbling George. It's pretty pathetic at this point.

You reek of Jealousy and Envy Brother. Do not bear false witness. Do not steal. do not encourage others to steal.

Is life too complicated for you? Government's role is to maintain the Quality of the playing field, not destroy the integrity of play, with this predetermined outcome and complaining about wealth inequality Bullshit. Private Property is an Unalienable Right, Jack Ass.

You want yo show unlawful gain, that is a totally separate issue, which the Courts will gladly confront through due process and rule of law.

You seek to destroy the Free Market, and replace it with what? Totalitarian Mandate and Rule? It seems Equal Misery and Servitude is more your goal, with the last thing on your mind being Truth and Impartial Justice. Why not give thi litter box posting style a rest, and try, for once to be thankful for what you have. Try living within your means, rich or poor, and encourage those you care about to do the same?

They have not, they've brought attention to themselves and their 20 dollar an hour min. wage. They also have drawn attention away from Obama and his failure as a leader.

Exactly. Government Corruption at the highest levels. Even Fannie and Freddie dancing to the same tune. Energy and Utility costs artificially high because of Government obstruction and manipulation. These clowns are intentionally causing the problems while pointing the finger at any scapegoat they can get away with. All they need is more control over our lives and they can fix everything. :eusa_whistle: Yeah Right.

Point out the false witness in the following.

"Voters continue to be very unhappy with the new majority in the House.

"Only 37% of voters think the Republicans have been an upgrade from when the Democrats were in charge, to 41% who believe they've been worse.

"Among independent voters, whose overwhelming support fueled the new GOP majorities, 26% think the Republicans have been an improvement to 37% who believe they've made things worse.

Occupy Wall Street Favor Fading - Public Policy Polling

Maybe you should spend more time in the 21st Century and less in the 18th when life was simpler for white males who owned property? If you think today's Republicans AND Democrats care any more about political equality than Madison did, you are way beyond pathetic. The 1% and their babbling tools like you will continue to be on the wrong side of history until they're vanished from its page.

Sooner the better.
Slave.

Please cut the bullshit.
I am sick pf your hypocritical crap.
You have some nerve. You post charts indicating that the Dow Jones is higher under the Obama administration. You state this is due to Obama's policies. Then you curse Wall Street and continue to post this horse cocky about a Wall Street ponzi scheme....You are full of shit.

Overall, I'd say that the country is reaching a point where it will look very hard at the way the superwealth operate and what they do and don't pay in taxes. The kinds of fortunes they have amassed in the last two or three decades is beyond comprehension. Billioniares ???

I think OWS will probably slow that down. Once again, a bunch of idiots get together and try to accelerate things only to find that they muddle the issue with their poor behavior and draw attention away from where it needs to be.

As one lefty likes to say....

Good job guys.

Ah..Same old self hating guilt from a Caucasian liberal.

The Occupy Wall Street Movement is WORKING!!!

I do indeed think it is having an effect on people.

Unfortunately though the entire protest has gained momentum and it's definitely doing well, so what do organizations do with this? They try to take leverage of it and manipulate it like any other self interested group.

Bravo.
You've obviously been unaware that the Minneapolis Occupados went from crowds of hundreds to not even 25 showing for their scheduled Friday Rally with only a skeleton crew of 6-10 on average to make sure the city doesn't remove their shit from the plaza.

That said, there has been growth in that they got 3 Biffys back so they can stop trashing the local restaurant restrooms.

Exactly, the Occutard "movement" is really no movement at all.
A vast over reaction by police everywhere.
Lock them up, fine the shit out of them and mommy and daddy will put them on restriction, take their allowances away and all of a sudden their size diminishes 80% over night.
Dumb ass police do not know any better.
Oh it's a movement alright...a bowel movement.

Yes, well so does and 80 year old woman streaking at a basketball game.

Generally, it is a different effect than what it would be if one of the good looking cheerleaders took off her clothes and ran around.

Context is everything.

OWS is working great.

It is shining a light on the $516 trillion dollar Ponzi scheme that Wall Street ran that destroyed the world economy.

The economic collapse occurred in 2008.

There were 2 million foreclosures in the U.S. in 2008.

There are 131 million homes in the U.S.

So how did 2% of the homes in the U.S. being in foreclosure bring down the world economy?

It didn't.

It was the $516 trillion dollar derivatives Ponzi scheme that Wall Street ran.

Buffett warned about derivatives in 2003. He called them "weapons of mass financial destruction."

He was right.

The US has a spending problem

if you look at Debt aa percentage of GDP
one can get a better picture

Debt vs. debt as a percentage of GDP:
Reagan: Up 14.9 percentage points
George H.W. Bush: Up 7.1 percentage points
Clinton: Down 13.4 percentage points
George W. Bush: Up 5.6 percentage points
