In brown is where “the far right” won in France.

Maybe they aren’t far-right, maybe they are just ordinary people fed up with the hard-left elitists telling them they are racist, extremists and fascists for holding common sense views. Like here in America. We aren’t Trump fans. We’re fans of what he’s standing up for.

And now snap elections are being called for.

France’s finance minister said on Monday that the snap election called by President Emmanuel Macron after a bruising loss to the far right in European Parliament elections would be the most consequential legislative vote in the republic’s history.

Macron’s shock decision amounts to a roll of the dice on his political future. It could hand a great deal of power to Marine Le Pen’s far-right National Rally (RN) after years on the sidelines, and neuter his presidency three years before it is due to end.

The legislative vote will take place on June 30, less than a month before the start of the Paris Olympics, with a second round on July 7.

Does any European country have a choice or do they even matter now. America is fully prepared to fight the war against Russia alone. Europe's countries will most likely become unwilling pawns as it finally sinks in that Russia is going to strike out with venom if they ever face the prospect of defeat.

Trump wants these countries to start paying their fair share. How they gonna cut taxes and do that too?

By not pissing money away on your stupid socialist bullshit.
OMG Europe is so socialist. Are they really being taken over by capitalist corporations? Of course they are.

We’d been discussing taxes on the air and the fact that Denmark has an average 52 percent income-tax rate. I asked him why people didn’t revolt at such high taxes, and he smiled and pointed out to me that the average Dane is very well paid, with a minimum wage that equals roughly $18 per hour. Moreover, what Danes get for their taxes (that we don’t) is a free college education and free health care, not to mention four weeks of paid vacation each year and notoriety as the happiest nation on earth, according to a major study done by the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom.

This is the one I was looking for actually

A new aristocracy is taking over not just the United States of America but also the world. ... This is more than just a tax cut story. It's about a fundamental shift in power and wealth from average people and the governments they had formed to represent them, to the capture of those governments and economic enslavement of their people by corporate aristocracies.

Taxes are paid on income, not wealth. Bill Gates probably uses $250K a year of which is taxed. His portfolio is not taxed.

power follows wealth, so when the disparity grows to where the 1% have it all, an obvious self serving oligarchy caters to it's self

this can be seen in any form of governance

I remember Alan Greenspan said his job was to keep wages as low as he could without the people revolting.

Well last year unions all over the country won big. And it's starting to happen in RED states. So we don't have to revolt. We need to organize.

And it's only blue collar hurting really. They're being duped by Trump when he says he's going to play wack a mole with illegals. Says it will increase their wages. Last thing Trump wants. He's an illegal employer. If he was serious he'd go after the companies who employ them like Clinton did. Before Bush stopped.

Inflation is being corrected. Nothing Trump can do about it. He says drill baby drill but we are already doing that.

From 2019 to 2022, the median net worth of American families jumped 37% to $192,900, after adjusting for inflation. It’s the largest increase ever recorded by the federal Survey of Consumer Finances, released last fall. Surging home values and rising stock ownership fed the surge.
