/-----/ Wait till next month when they quietly lower the numbers like they just did for March.
Employment gains in March, however, were revised lower to show 165,000 jobs were created during the month, 71,000 fewer than previously reported. February's job gains were also revised lower — to 248,000 from 326,000 — making job growth over that two month stretch lower than previously reported by 149,000.
With these revisions, job gains over the last six months have averaged 290,000.

LOLOL

Yeah, those were horrible months, huh?

Feb: 248,000
Mar: 165,000(P)
Apr: 253,000(P)

You realize anyone above 150,000 is gravy, right?

/-----/ You shut things down for two years, then reopen so you can take credit for filling those lost jobs.
Things are going great. Yeah, the banks are failing, the border is overwhelmed, inflation is too high, and WWIII looks promising, but who's counting?

Poor baby. Just because the sky is falling on your head doesn't mean it's falling on everyone's. :itsok:

You should stay hidden in your safe space. There are how many banks? About 4000? How many have failed? About 3?
/——-/ democRATs savagely attacked Bush in 2007 for the banking crisis and the one today is worse. Of course Commie filth give Dementia Joe a pass.

You're out of your mind to think it's worse now than then. That's what happens when you rely on fake news.

Then, there was a record number of foreclosures. Not now. Then, the nation's second biggest lender filed for bankruptcy. Not now.

The 3 banks that failed this year held more assets than all the banks that failed in
2007, 2008 and 2009 combined.

/----/ Collectively, the three big banks that have collapsed in 2023 had more assets than all 25 banks that collapsed in 2008 did.

This misses the finer point that the Labor force participation rate for people ages 25 to 54 is the highest since January 2007.

While we do have more retired people, the core working age participation rate is doing well.

/----/ Nope.

The US economy added 209,000 jobs in June, missing Wall Street estimates and reflecting a slowdown from the previous month, data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics showed Friday.
Economists surveyed by Bloomberg had expected that 225,000 nonfarm payroll jobs were added in June. Friday's report marks the first time in 15 months that nonfarm payrolls have come in lower than Wall Street expected.

AND, AS I PREDICTED: Updated data revealed 306,000 jobs were created during May, about 33,000 less than previously reported.

Even at 306K, that's still a better month than 37 out of Trump's 48 months in office.
