The President with the worst average unemployment rate since World War II is?

/-----/ Hows abouts a chart showing how Dementia Joe's inflation is destroying the housing market?

How about adding a little historical perspective...

/----/ While that chart is accurate, home buyers are only affected by today's rates.

Was the housing market destroyed all those years that the rates were even higher than they are now?

Your hyperbole is what always does you in.

Golfing Gator is absolutely correct, and his comment is repeated: "Inflation is down. The core labor force, 25-54, is at it highest percent since 2007, the markets are doing great, the consumer confidence index is at it highest in almost 2 years.

Add in strong job growth, no negative GDP quarters (which is what you people used to use to say we were in a recession) and you are as wrong as you could be. The wishful thinking of some guy from a year ago does not change that."

Strong job growth with the decline in wage upward movement is making this world-wide post-Covid economy much more easy to navigate.

The economy argument works for the Dems and against the GoP.

no negative GDP quarters

We've had negative GDP quarters under Biden.

1. We’re in a recession.
2. Recessions are a natural part of the economy like a fire is a natural part of the forest lifecycle.
3. You ‘re a hateful little bytch.
Too bad you’re not refined enough to look up what a recession is. Being ignorant is no excuse for name calling.

You're crazy. There is no recession. GDP is positive, job growth is strong, inflation is dropping. You know, all the hallmarks of a recession.

/------/ Biden administration redefines 'recession' ahead of possibly damaging GDP report

Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of the Job Creators Network, called the Biden administration's recession framing "a desperate attempt to prevent Biden from being labeled a recession president, which would further hurt Democrats' chances in the midterm elections."

"Even following the administration's request to take 'a holistic look at the data' still indicates the economy is in recession," he said in a statement. "Historic inflation, a declining labor force, cratering financial markets, and record-low consumer confidence only bolster recession indications. No matter how the administration tries to slice it, the economy is in recession, and the Biden administration only has itself to blame. No wonder it's trying so hard to redefine what a recession is."

Republican National Committee spokesman Tommy Pigott called the administration's recession rhetoric outright "delusion."

"Newsflash for Joe Biden: You can't change reality by arguing over definitions," Pigott wrote in a statement. "They think all they have is a messaging problem. In truth though, they have a policy problem, and you can’t change reality by playing games with definitions. The American people are too smart for that."

That was a year ago. Why do you keep posting old articles as though they're pertinent now?

And by the way, Biden did not redefine what a recession is. He couldn't if he wanted to. He cited a decades old definition by the NBER.

That’s exactly my point. Conservations love recessions because that’s when their donors make much of their wealth.
While the middle class is going jobless, and losing their real estate and their investment portfolios, the wealth are buying them up for pennies on the dollar. Conservatives support any program that makes money for the rich, even if it means fking the middle class..,,,proof ? Sure, every republucan admin has had at least one in modern history….

Not just in modern history. In all of U.S. history.

/——/ Recessions clean out the dead wood in business. Nobody likes them but some learn how to take advantage of them.
