The Russia/Ukraine war is not going the way we were told

Wrong.

Russia has always been the good guys, helping other countries for free, against colonial imperialists like the US, trying to install puppet dictators, like Khang Kai Shek, Syngman Rhee, Diem, Samosa, Batista, etc.

These are the lies Russians tell themselves to make themselves feel better when in fact, the rest of the world wants absolutely nothing to fucking do with them.

Russia does not want the Poles that live in western Ukraine.
It was the eastern provinces that were populated by ethnic Russians that Russia wanted to liberate.
The only reason to attack Kyiv is to stop them from trying to join NATO.
You forced Finland and Sweden to join NATO

You forced Finland and Sweden to join NATO

And every other country that was part of the Warsaw Pact?

Russia a cancer on the world. It is an arrogant imperialistic country that believes it has the right to dominate all others around it.

Playing Russia as the victim

You really thought you could invade a peaceful neighbor without consequences?

Kyiv is about the most fascist, racist, and genocidal country in the world.
The Ukraine was given large chunks of Russia by the Ukrainian, Khrushchev in 1955.
Since then, the polish Ukrainians in the west have been trying to exterminate all the ethnic Russians.
Kyiv has stolen over $20 billion in gas in oil as of the world court ruling in 2012.
Kyiv has murdered over 30k ethnic Russian civilans.
Kyiv has been constantly violating treaties and trying to put NATO nukes on Russia's border.

Kyiv has NEVER been a "peaceful neighbor".

And every other country that was part of the Warsaw Pact?

Remember when Obama made fun of Romney for stating Russia was a threat ?

Then why did they default on their loans? Why did the Russian Airlines default on their payments?

They are protesting the illegal economic sanctions.
Why should they make payments when they are being illegally abused?
Economic sanctions on civilian commerce were made illegal by the 1906 Geneva Conventions the US signed.

Remember when Obama made fun of Romney for stating Russia was a threat ?

Romney was correct. Obama was wrong.

I wanted to believe that Russia wasn't a threat.

But there is something deeply wrong with that country.

Wrong.
The US is bribing corrupt politicians.
All the Warsaw Pact countries owe Russia a debt of gratitude.
Russia is the LEAST imperialistic country in the world.
Imperialism is what England, France, and Spain used to do, and the US still does.
Which is taking over the governments of countries, like we tried to do with China, Korea, Vietnam, Cuba, Nicaragua, Panama, Grenada, Afghanistan, Egypt, Libya, Syria, etc.

So you think Russia should have ignored Kyiv when they stole $20 billion in Russian oil, tried to put NATO nukes on Russia's border, murdered over 30 ethnic Russian civilians, etc?

Tell us more about how Ukraine actually invaded Russia

Again, the easter half of the Ukraine is NOT ethnic Polish like Kyiv.
It is ethnic Russian because they used to be part of Russia until 1955 with Khrushchev gave these provinces to his home country of the Ukraine.

And the Ukraine did not have to invade Russia to commit acts of war.
Trying to put NATO nukes on Russia's border is a treaty violation and act of war enough all by itself.

These are the lies Russians tell themselves to make themselves feel better when in fact, the rest of the world wants absolutely nothing to fucking do with them.

Face facts, it is the US that spend the most on arms in the whole world, even though no one has tried to invade us since 1812.
The US put most of our troops to illegally occupy countries we have illegally taken over.

They are protesting the illegal economic sanctions.
Why should they make payments when they are being illegally abused?

Why do you keep repeating this bullshit? There is NOTHING in that treaty about economic sanctions and we have done it hundreds of times since that treaty was signed!

If you can find it, link it!

The treaty is large, but the idea is obvious.
Before that, what invaders did was encircle cities and starve them out.
The 1906 Hague Conventions, which turned into the Geneva Conventions, made that illegal.
Do you disagree?
So you disagree that starving out countries into surrender, like we did to Germany in WWI, is immoral and unethical?
Submarine warfare originally was illegal unless it surfaced and forced ships to surrender.
Who and why do you think that got ignored?

Just consider the US constitution.
If we have freedom of political expression, that has to include being free to conduct business with the political ideas we believe in, regardless of the country they are practiced in.
So economic sanctions against Russia, Iran, etc. is dictating our political and economic associations, and is totally and completely illegal under US law.

But I did run into this:
{...
Rule 53. The use of starvation of the civilian population as a method of warfare is prohibited.

Summary

State practice establishes this rule as a norm of customary international law applicable in both international and non-international armed conflicts.

International armed conflicts

While in 1863 the Lieber Code still stated that “it is lawful to starve the hostile belligerent, armed or unarmed, so that it leads to the speedier subjection of the enemy”,[1] by 1919 the Report of the Commission on Responsibility set up after the First World War listed “deliberate starvation of civilians” as a violation of the laws and customs of war subject to criminal prosecution.[2] The prohibition of starvation as a method of warfare is codified in Article 54(1) of Additional Protocol I.[3] This provision was generally considered new at the time of the adoption of Additional Protocol I but since then has hardened into a rule of customary international law. Under the Statute of the International Criminal Court, “intentionally using starvation of civilians as a method of warfare” is a war crime in international armed conflicts.[4]

The prohibition of starvation is set forth in numerous military manuals.[5] Starvation of civilians as a method of warfare is an offence under the legislation of many States.[6] This rule is also supported by official statements and other practice.[7] This practice includes that of States not, or not at the time, party to Additional Protocol I.[8] Contrary practice has been generally condemned or has been denied by the accused party.[9]
...}

And economic sanctions essentially are starvation warfare, only to a slightly lesser degree.

Khrushchev was NOT Ukrainian, dumbass! He was Russian!

What treaty? Link it!

What fucking NATO nukes? Our nukes missiles are all in the US and on submarines. France has missiles on submarines and air-launched cruise missiles. The UK has missiles on submarines only. So where is NATO getting these nukes since no one else is a nuclear power?

Laying siege is not illegal, dumbass! The Germans did it numerous times in WWII as did the Russians.

Link it, dumbass!

I read the entire fucking treaty. You lie!

The US Constitution does not apply to other countries! My God, did you EVER take a high school class on the Constitution? I taught it!
