Every classroom in America started the day off with the following prayer:
"Almighty God, we acknowledge our dependence upon thee, and we beg Thy blessings upon us, our parents, our teachers and our Country."

Imagine that. Praying for your teachers, parents and America.

Since the 1962 Ruling prohibited this, how have things gone?

Prior to 1962 how many schools had full time cops, had metal detectors to get into school, had school shootings and stabbings, etc etc.

I don't think it was a bad practice, and events of today support my view.
