Adolph Hitler was building the Autobahns. That in spite of the fact that there were very few people who could afford any sort of automobile. Adolph Hitler ordered his auto manufacturers to develop a car which could be sold for the approximate price of a moderate motorscooter. The manufacturers told Hitler it was impossible. Lead engineer Ferdinand Porsche finally came up with the People's Car, in German, the Volkswagon.

People working in certain fields were ordered to buy the coming vehicle by buying stamps (green stamps?) each week with the promise of a car when it was built and paid for. There was no capitalism because it was impossible to build the car and sell it for the cost much less any profit. No one ever received a car, very few were produced and the plants were converted to producing war materials largely using slaves.

Capitalism was not a word in the vocabulary of Adolph Hitler.
