We just spent 1.5 Trillion on tax cuts. Trump wants to spend 1.2 on his new nuclear arms race, & he has called for 1.5 trillion in infrastructure spending.

That is 4.2 billion over say ten years. 420 billion a year new spending without a peep on funding.

We are already racing toward a trillion dollar deficit.

We are not mired in a deep recession (yet). Our economy is going OK. Employment is OK. We do not need such an economic shot in the arm.

I will assume you are trying to lay down a defense for your party's unfunded spending spree by calling Obama a big spender.

How about you provide a list of unfunded actions that were done under Obama. The ARRA not included.

Where did the deficits come from? The Bush recession, two unfunded wars, unfunded Bush tax cuts, the unfunded major expansion to Medicare?

A 2013 report by the NYT said Medicare Part D would add over 850 billion in debt over the following ten years. Republicans passed Medicare Part D without properly funding it. Democrats voted no because it was not funded.

Unfunded spending grows the deficit. Republicans are the king of unfunded spending.

We had the debt ceiling issue under Obama where Republicans said that if they raised the debt limit they would later pass spending cuts. To make them do it, the sequester was added to say if the Republicans did not pass these cuts, the Sequester would make automatic across the board cuts. The Republicans opted not to pass spending cuts. We got the sequester.

Republicans just ended the sequester. No spending cuts were made.

We have a deficit when spending outpaces income. Trump & the Republicans just upped spending while slashing income.

Quit being a dumbfuck. Tax cuts to the middle class & below can produce job gains. Unfortunately., not all the cost of the tax cut bill is for these people. All the cuts to the wealthy are not efficient ways to grow jobs. The tax cuts to well off corporations do not grow jobs.

Increasing the demamd for products creates jobs. This is why tax cuts for the middle class & lower work . These people will spend that money. The wealthy already have what they want. The money you assholes gave to them will end up in bonds or the stock market which not only do not create jobs but will take interest rates go up costing all those middle clsass people money.

Companies are taking advantage of a reduced repatriation tax. We are rewarding companies that took jobs overseas & then took advantage of a loop hole to keep it there.
