The bi-racial 8-year-old in New Hampshire lynched by a gang of white teenagers is a sign of our times. Such an act would never have been considered were it not for the conservatives’ new openness to Nazism. It’s an openness enabled by the Big Orange Idiot’s advocation of white on minority violence, violence also encouraged to be carried out on anyone who disagrees in any way with the conservatives’ repressive and hate-filled agenda.
The oldest teen attacker in the gang was 14-years-old, and his, as well as the others' willing participation in the attack is telling of their home lives. There can be no doubt the parents of these gang members are conservative voters who helped elect the Big Orange Idiot, and they obviously have conversations full of hate and racism while their children are present.
Conservatives will undoubtedly consider this unconscionable act as nothing more than boys being boys. However, if the situation were reversed, and the gang of teenagers had been black and the victim an 8-year-old white child, conservatives would be demanding decades long prison sentences for the black teens.
The Trump effect is showing the ugly face of conservatism, that until recently, conservatives were too ashamed to exhibit. Sadly, with Big Orange's constant encouragement, the situation is only going to get worse until we have another person of honor and dignity in the White House again. Another person with the class and integrity of President Obama.
As the world discovered during the 1930s, members of any society who embrace Nazism cannot be permitted to gain even an ounce of influence in government. When this occurs, well, we all know the history of WWII, when the Antifa of that era defeated Nazi Germany and its allies, Italy and Japan.
