The worst movies you have ever paid to see.

One truly does wonder how some of these ever got out of the proposal stage, let alone received financing to be made.
Too many contenders for worst for me. Saw the latest "Avengers" yesterday and found the one and only interesting thing about it was they dared to show the "super heroes" losing and the "bad guy" winning.
Hey, could that have been some kind of commentary on the current state of ...
Naw!

"Out of Africa"

Another Academy award wining film the critics loved, and the public stayed away.

It rivals the "English Patient" for the longest and most boring film ever made. .....

I bought one of Walmarts 4-films in a $5 pack. The other films were not bad, but it also had Lucy.

That was the absolute stupidest movie I've seen in years.

Of course I don't pretend my taste in movies fits the rest of the world.

I hated, as in absolutely hated, Kill Bill. Or any of the Tarantino films.

Kill Bill was so dumb.

Really? A doctor pimping out women in comas? And no one notices? None ever get pregnant?

The girl kills a doctor in a hospital, and no one notices?

The girl takes a neon painted truck, stolen from the doctor she murdered, that has "Pussywagon" in neon on the back, and drives across country.... and no police officer ever stops the neon colored truck from a murdered doctor?

She then fights a trained assassin after being in a coma for ages, and wins?
The assassin has a gun hidden in a box of corn flakes, she had her daughter eating from?

The list of non-stop stupid in that film, was from start to finish, and people praised it as being great American Cinema? No wonder left-winger can get elected, when at least a significant portion of the voters are this stupid.

If you liked that movie...... I am actually sorry if you are insulted by that... but that was such a dumb film.
(rant session end)
He was an intern, not a doctor.

It was stupid, no doubt. I like movies that show ass kicking and am willing to tolerate quite a lot of stupid to see it. ESPECIALLY when hot chicks kick ass. I understand why you don't like it and I'm not judging. I wouldn't call it great American Cinema either, btw.
You don't think Kill Bill showed asses getting kicked?

Mine were...

The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie

Officer and a Gentleman

The one with Lou Gossett wearing a football on his head

Dolemite

Beverly Hills Cop

Anyone who doesn't like a Quinton Tarantino movie, should leave the country.

Except Jackie Brown. I didn't like that movie.

To me, his movies are like violence porn. Just substitute killing for fuking

"...killing for fuking..."?

That reminds me of George Carlin's line on prostitution...

"I don't understand why prostitution is illegal? Selling is legal. Fucking is legal. So why is selling fucking illegal? Why is it illegal to sell something, that is perfectly legal to give away?"

All of those superhero movies bore the crap out of me. If you don't count Deadpool, I haven't seen more than two of them and one being the Batman with Heath Leger. I've just never been a fan of superheros.

I didn't see either of them so I didn't include them in this thread. I could tell from the previews that I wouldn't like it.

I agree

I used to enjoy an occasional superhero movie

Now they come out twice a month to huge ratings....I just don’t care anymore

No it did show that. that's the only reason I put up with it's ridiculousness. Sorry I didn't make that clear.

Even as a kid I didn't.

Typically, something happens to a person and they get super powers. OK, that is a stretch that I might be willing to accept BUT, a super bad guy just happens to pop up at the same time. I just can't put up with that same plot over and over.

Reminds me of a joke by the comedian Dave Attell. He said: "I got struck by lightning once. People say when you get struck by lightning you can get super powers. Yeah my super power was to shake on the ground and piss my pants. Will I use it for good or evil? Stay tuned."
